Workshop Configuration

Two primary rooms make up the ELB Guitars workshop.

One is the ‘dust room’, which contains the big power equipment: band saw, jointer, table saw, thickness sander etc.

The second room is the assembly shop. Eddie Lee prefers to do as much as possible with hand tools. He feels it give a better feel for the wood and delivers much more control.

Guitars, wood for back/sides and tops are stored in a third, humidity controlled area. This area also houses partially finished guitars in cases. This room helps age the wood inventory and keeps wood in a pristine condition.
